When submitting your commission request, please be sure to include the following information:

  • Clear (not blurry!) reference photos with good lighting. I must work from quality references to accurately capture your subject.
  • The potential size and medium of your piece.
  • Any additional context about your commission that you feel is important to note.

 

What to Expect

Watercolor and charcoal commissions are each done on 100% cotton 300gsm cold-pressed paper with the highest quality materials. Turnaround time depends on my availability and the level of detail of your piece. As a general estimate, you can expect your commission to be completed between 2 and 6 weeks after you have been booked and your deposit paid.

Please review the pricing breakdown below (USD). Shipping in the US is included in the commission pricing. *Note that pricing may change based on the complexity and detail of your commission. Contact me for custom or in-between sizes not listed on the chart.

To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required. An invoice will be sent once you confirm that you would like to proceed with the commission. I will also send a contract that outlines the terms and conditions of the commission process. Work will commence once the contract is signed and your payment is received.

For both charcoal and watercolor commissions, I will first create a preparatory sketch in light graphite. Photos of this sketch will be emailed to you for your approval and/or to discuss potential revisions. The first revision is free of charge. Any revisions thereafter will be an additional 30% of the order’s total. When the sketch is approved, I will begin working on the final piece and send photo updates towards the middle and final stages.

Photos of the finished artwork will be sent via email for your approval. Once satisfied, the remaining 50% balance is due. Upon receipt of full payment, your commission will be shipped to your delivery address with tracking information provided.
